Ngprint PDF Kok Gak Bisa ??

Saya heran…kok LInux PClinuxOS 2007 enggak bisa ngeprint file pdf ya (cups printing based) ? Padahal waktu masih pake versi BigDaddy lancar2 aja tuh. Kalo ngeprint file lain selain pdf ya..normal, aneh…ada yang bisa bantu ?
Lanjut :
COba Install Acrobat Reader
#apt-get install apt-get install AdobeReader-plugin
Masalah muncul lagi, program Acrobatreader gak mau jalan !! /bin/pwd permission denied
#chmod 755 /
Acrobat Reader Jalan tapi nanyalin libgtkembedmoz.o >> cari di /usr/lib/seamonkey-1.1.6 (atau browser lainnya) konfigurasi ada di menu Edit > Preferences > Internet

Done !! kalo acroread bisa ngeprint via Cupsd, tapi Kpdf enggak bisa. Lebih enteng Kpdf sayang sekali …:(

syslogd: cannot write to remote file handle on 192.168.0.254:514

Fix :

Edit file

• /etc/sysconfig/syslog (PclinuxOs)
• /etc/init.d/sysklogd (Ubuntu)
• /etc/default/syslogd (Debian)

Ubah baris

SYSLOGD_OPTIONS=”-m 0 -a /var/spool/postfix/dev/log”

Manjadi

SYSLOGD_OPTIONS=”-m 0 -r -a /var/spool/postfix/dev/log”

MP3 usb flash disk gak bisa di Client LTSP

USB flash disk sudah bisa dibaca untuk client LTSP tapi kok kalo yang ada MP3 Playernya kok agak-agak aneh ? ada yang tau caranya ?

masalah nfs: server 192.168.0.254 not responding, still trying

Pernah ketemu dengan error diatas ?? Pas kemaren ngeset server LTSP ketemu dengan yang beginian nih :p. Dugaan pertama adalah NFS server kita bermasalah, untuk mengecek, lakukan langkah berikut :

1. Cek Kabel, jangan2 ada yang lepas, putus atau hal2 lainnya, jangan lupa cek swtich/hub sudah nyolok listrik blom.

2.Jika enggak ada masalah pada no.1 kita lanjutin ke langkah ke 2. Masuk ke Konsole Linux Box.
